Amplifier Casters and Wheels - Musical Equipment Casters

Service Caster understands the musician's requirements for casters and wheels on amplifiers and other musical equipment will vary depending on use. Models range from lightweight to heavy duty according to usage parameters. We provide replacement and new casters for all popular name brand amplification equipment, Marshall, Peavey, Fender, Crate, and more, plus home made and DIY gear.

Note: Capacity alone should not be the determining factor for selecting a speaker cabinet or other wheeled music equipment lockers and road gear cases. Lateral thrust and impact resistance should be considered.

Consult with our caster sales engineers to determine the ideal casters and wheels for your equipment.

Choosing The Proper Amplifier Caster and Wheel

Most amps require a caster socket and a caster with a 7/16" diameter grip ring stem, similar to the "Ernie Ball Pop-In Casters." We can provide this style of caster in sizes ranging from the standard 2" wheel up to a 5" wheel in a variety of tread types, to truly meet your durability and performance needs. We also offer our casters with optional brakes, to prevent movement on uneven surfaces. You may also want to consider skipping the socket and simply using a top plate caster, which will fasten directly to the bottom of the amp.

Blackstar Amps: These amps use a plastic socket with 10mm threading. Do not use a 3/8" threaded stem in the plastic socket, as this will destroy the threading inside the socket.
